Competition Pre-Registration

We strongly recommend pre-registration of your competition entries.  This minimizes queuing and will save you time on the day.  This is especially worthwhile if you have many models to enter. Please write any judging notes - lists of modifications and technical notes for the judge's attention on a separate sheet that reference's the model's name.  Please note that this year we have extended the closure of registration from 1.00 PM (in previous years) to 2:00 PM*.  This is to assist social distancing and prevent crowding at the registration desk.

Pre-Registration for the WASMEx Competition typically opens one month prior to the event.

  1. Read the Competition Rules and Conditions of Entry to prevent any misunderstandings at the Expo.
  2. Determine which Category your models belong in (enquire to  wasmexcomp@gmail.com if you require guidance)
  3. Complete ONE entry_form_2022 for all of your models (i.e. multiple models should be entered on one just one form). Please note that you can choose to complete the entry form either electronically or by printing it out and filling in with pen and ink scanning and e-mailing. It's entirely up to you.
  4. If you wish to provide any judging notes;  lists of modifications or technical comments for the judge's consideration please write them on a separate text document.
  5. Once you have completed your form and any judging notes e-mail it to the competition coordinator at: wasmexcomp@gmail.com.  The competition coordinator will then transfer the information into the competition database prior to the event.
  6. On the day, turn up with your entries between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, pay your entry fees and place your entries on the competition tables.

Registration on the day

You are welcome to register on the day. The process and paperwork is very similar to that outlined above but will take more time  and will result in more queuing.

  1. Read the Competition Rules and Conditions of Entry to prevent any misunderstandings.
  2. Turn up at Cannington with your models, between 10:00 AM and 2:00PM.
  3. Determine which Category your models belong in (discuss with scrutineers if you require guidance)
  4. Fill out the paperwork
  5. Present paperwork to the Competition Coordinator who will then complete the data entry.
  6. Pay your fees and place your entries on the competition tables

Adobe PDF Ready

Please note that the entry form file is in Adobe PDF format .  You will require a PDF reader in order to view, fill-in and print the form. If you do not have a PDF reader you can get Adobe Reader here for free.
