Gundam
Please Note - Since Gundam judging has its own specialized criteria, categories 13.1, 13.2 and 13.3 will be judged by members of the W.A. Gundam modelling community rather than by the WASMEx judging panel.
13.1 - Gundam Straight Build - Open
- Painting not allowed
- Seamline removal not allowed.
- No modifications allowed (including weathering and battle damage)
- Sanding and nub removal ok
- Panel lining is allowed. Topcoat and decals allowed but won't score extra points.
- Base is allowed and encouraged.
13.2 - Gundam Repaint - Open
- Kit must be painted
- Seamline removal allowed
- Weathering allowed but no battle damage.
- Decals and topcoat allowed and will score extra points
- Panel lining allowed and will score extra points
- Base encouraged and will score extra points.
- No modifications allowed
13.3 - Gundam Modified - Open
- Any modifications allowed (photo etch, resin, 3D print, battle damage, scribing etc)
- Must be painted, panel lined, decals.
- Must have a base
Co-operative Build
14.1 - Open (Any subject built by two or more people) - Open
15.1 - Showcase Challenge.
-Each year a new theme will be chosen for the Showcase Challenge.
-Showcase Challenge models will be entered to this category.
- The Showcase Challenge theme for 2025 will be 'Racing Cars'.
